Hi! Phoebe and I have been hard at work to bring you the best experience that we could, as far as the GameJam version goes. We might update the game further after it though, but we'll see.
Before giving any details about the patch note, I'd like to personally thank Phoebe, Kaaliyah, Kengria, StitchLips, Kapix and InkLee for reporting all the bugs I couldn't find!
Added:
- Settings menu! Some settings are overwritten by other scripts for now, will be fixed later
- LUA console! You can trigger the console using Left Shift+Right Shift
- Added purse (inventory)
- Shopkeeper now has a portrait
Modified:
- Ghost now goes away when hiding
- Phone sounds have been tweaked
- Ghost shouldn't spawn out-of-bounds on the train station
- Cursor size reduced drastically
- Alerts aren't chained anymore (you can spam doors)
- Pause menu now filters the music
- Ghost audio volume turned up
- Player health lowered from 10 to 6
- Dialogues should be more dynamic
- Windows version now should keep the correct aspect ration when full-screen'ed
Fixed:
- Quit button now displayed on the Windows (.EXE) version
- Can't give the photo to the train nerd right from the start anymore
- WebGL loading now displayed
- Train nerd now says something different when traded the whistle
- Menus shouldn't be activated using space anymore
- The photo should now be displayed in the inventory
Hopefully it'll make you want to check out the game again (if you haven't already)! Thanks a lot to anyone who's tried it. We love you... And we'll meet again, on the Path to Kitaiyama.
